Journalists' first cricket match competition concluded

For the first time, a 2-day cricket tournament match was going on between the journalists of the district at the PG College ground of Jhabua for the last 2 days.

This grand event started on Friday.

On the first day, four matches were played. The matches played between the journalists were very spectacular and thrilling and full of enthusiasm. In which the teams of journalists showed excellent performance for their respective teams.

On the second day, three matches were played....

The semi and final cricket matches of the district journalists were played at the local college ground in Jhabua.

In the first semi-final match, Jhabua A team scored 66 runs in the stipulated eight overs and gave Thandla a target of 67 runs to win.

Thandla team achieved this target in 5.2 overs by losing only 2 wickets and secured its place in the final.

The second semi-final match was played between Jhabua Mix and Petlawad.

The Jhabua team gave a target of 83 runs to Petlawad team to win.

This match was very exciting. In the last over, Petlawad achieved this target by losing 3 wickets and secured its place in the final.

Petlawad team won the trophy..... The final match of the competition was played between Petlawad and Thandla. Petlawad team gave a target of 94 runs to Thandla to win.

The Thandla team was able to score only 85 runs in the stipulated overs and the Petlawad team won the final match by 8 runs and claimed the trophy. This match was won by 100 runs.

The second match was played between Petlawad and Meghnagar team. Petlawad won this match by 8 wickets. The third match was played between Jhabua 'C' and Thandla, in which Thandla team was the winner.

Finally, the fourth match was played between Jhabua Mix team and Para team, in which Para team was victorious.

The guests presented the trophy along with the prize money to the winner and runner-up team... The chief guest Neeraj Rathore presented the trophy along with the prize money of 11 thousand to the winner Petlawad team. Sanjay Kanthi presented the trophy and the prize money of 5 thousand to the runner-up Petlawad team. There was a very happy atmosphere among all the journalists.

The event was wonderful due to their dedication and cooperation... All the journalists of the district participated in this competition with great enthusiasm. Yashwant Panwar, Alok Dwivedi, Sanjay Jain, Amit Sharma, Harish Yadav, Amit Jadoun, Sunny Damor, Bhupendra Nayak, Ritesh Trivedi, Vipul Panchal, Rakesh Poddar, Hrithik Vishwakarma, Virendra Singh Rathore and many other journalists of Jhabua wholeheartedly supported this event. The dedication and support of the main organizers of this competition, Mukesh Parmar, Niklesh Damor and Bhupendra Gaur was very commendable. All the journalists of the district sent them lots of thanks and congratulations and encouraged them to organize such grand events in future as well.
