The 56th death anniversary of Brahma Baba, the founder of Brahma Kumaris Institute, who laid the foundation of the world's largest and largest organization of women power, will be celebrated on 18 January. For this, the institute's Shantivan, Pandav Bhawan and Gyan Sarovar campus have been decorated with special flowers. In memory of Baba, special yoga-tapasya is going on in all the campuses from 1 January. On the death anniversary, this time more than 15 thousand people have arrived from Punjab. Who will offer their floral tribute to Baba by doing silent yoga sadhana tomorrow. Let us tell you that on 18 January 1969, at the age of 93, the saakar founder of Brahma Kumaris, Pitashri Brahma Baba, attained the state of perfection and became invisible. After his disappearance, the reins of the institute were taken over by the former chief administrator Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani. The result of Baba's sacrifice and penance is that he himself stayed back and encouraged women power and today the flag of Indian culture and spirituality is flying high all over the world.

Baba had created a trust by selling his property-

Woman is not the door to hell but the crown of the head, woman is not weak but strong, she is the form of power. With the resolution of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and the upliftment of women, to restore her lost respect in the society, to bring to life the story of Bharat Mata, Vande Mataram in the true sense, in the year 1937, the famous diamond and jewel merchant of that era, Dada Lekhraj Kriplani laid the foundation of change. He was so determined to uplift women that he sold all his property and formed a trust and handed over the responsibility of its management to women. Even after such a big sacrifice, he never put himself forward. He did not even include his daughter in the management committee so that the message of nepotism does not spread among the people. We are talking about Dada Lekhraj Kriplani, the founder of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari Vishwavidyalaya, whom everyone fondly calls Brahma Baba. On 18 January 1969, at the age of 93, Baba became invisible after attaining the state of perfection. But the example he set in his life is being followed by millions of people even today and they are moving forward on the path of Rajyoga. The main teaching and slogan of the institute is - World transformation through self-transformation and restoration of moral values.

The foundation of change was laid at the age of 60-

Born on 15 December 1876, Dada Lekhraj (Brahma Baba) was sharp-minded and honest since childhood. He was so passionate about meeting God that he had 12 Gurus in his lifetime. He used to say that Guru's call means Kaal's call. At the age of 60, in the year 1936, he had a vision of the great destruction of the world and the new creation. After this, as per God's instructions, he sold all his movable and immovable assets and formed a trust in the name of mothers and sisters, at that time the name of the institute was Om Mandali. After the transfer of the institute to Mount Abu in the year 1950, it was named Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari Vishwa Vidyalaya. Its first chief administrator was appointed as Mother Jagdamba Saraswati. Dada Lekhraj had a daughter and two sons.

Never touched money in life again-

Brahma Baba handed over the responsibility to mothers and sisters and never touched money himself. He even had such a feeling of constructiveness that even if he ever needed money for himself, he would ask the sisters. Baba used to say that one day women will play a leading role in the task of salvation of the world and transformation of the creation.

The only and largest organization in the world-

The Brahma Kumari Institute is the world's largest and only organization run by women power. From the chief administrator to the major positions, women are the only ones here. What can be a bigger example of women empowerment than the fact that brothers cook food in the canteen here and sisters sit and eat. Sisters handle all the responsibilities of the organization and brothers work with them as their assistants. President Draupadi Murmu, who recently attended a program, seeing the success and vastness of this organization, said that women power here has proved that if women get a chance, they can do better work than men.

Five thousand service centers operating in 140 countries-

The institute currently operates more than five thousand service centers in 140 countries of the world. Along with this, 46 thousand Brahma Kumari sisters are dedicatedly giving their services with body, mind and money. More than 20 lakh people are its regular students who attend the regular Satsang Murli class of the institute. Also, more than two lakh such youths are associated with the institute who are serving by remaining celibate. 20 divisions have been established under Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation to reach out to all sections of society and to serve.
