TEENAGE MISSING MINOR GIRL TRACED AND REUNITED WITH HER FAMILY BY NR-II, CRIME BRANCH UNDER OPERATION MILAP

• MISSING MINOR GIRL TRACED AFTER 2 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS FROM KASNA, DISTRICT- GAUTAM BUDH NAGAR, GREATER NOIDA, UP.

INTRODUCTION:

A number of children/ladies, who had been separated from their families for one reason or the other, are being traced by Crime Branch, Delhi Police. A special drive has been carried out by Crime Branch for tracing missing children/ladies under the operation ‘Milap’. For this purpose, a team comprising SI Parvir Singh, HC Ajay and W/Ct. Rajani Sharma led by Insp. Neeraj Sharma and under the close supervision of Sh. Narender Singh, ACP/NR-II was constituted by the undersigned for tracing missing/kidnapping children/ladies.

The team collates data of untraced missing persons/children from all the police stations of Delhi and also from ZIP NET. The spots are being visited by the team. The family members of the missing child/person are being examined.

THE PERSISTENT EFFORTS OF THE TEAM FOR TRACING THE MISSING MINOR GIRL ARE GIVEN BELOW:

On 16th November, 2022, a case regarding kidnapping/missing of a 16 years old minor girl was reported at PS Ashok Vihar, Delhi. It was reported to the local police by the complainant that he resides at xxxx Udham Singh Park, WPIA, Delhi. On 15-11-2022, at about 07 Pm, his minor daughter left home without informing anyone and didn’t come back. In this regard, a case vide FIR No- 843/2022, Dt. 16.11.2022 u/s 363 IPC, was registered at PS Ashok Vihar, Delhi. The matter was being investigated by the local police.

Even after passing 2 years and 8 months, there was no clue about the missing minor girl. The team of Crime Branch swung into action.

The team of NR-II/Crime Branch worked relentlessly, gathered information and searched the nearby areas. On the basis of local information & technical surveillance, some suspects were shortlisted and examined by the team but no information could be extracted about the missing minor girl. Relatives, family members and neighborhood friends of the missing minor girl were examined.

On the basis of technical surveillance done by W/Ct. Rajani Sharma, the team zeroed down the location of missing minor girl near Kasna, Greater Noida, UP.

A raiding team comprising SI Parvir Singh, Hc Ajay and W/Ct. Rajani Sharma was constituted and the team reached near Kasna, Greater Noida, UP and recovered the missing minor girl. The team handed her over to the local police of PS Ashok Vihar, Delhi for further counselling and necessary legal action.
