Delhi players are all set to win the 9th National Rafting Championship and Canoe Slalom Championship at Shivpuri in the picturesque city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Delhi's water sports champions are all set to win the 9th National Rafting and All India Open Canoe Slalom Championship at Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.

Delhi: Delhi's water sports players are all set to shine in the thrilling and adventurous Rafting and All India Open Canoe Slalom Championship at the picturesque city of Rishikesh, Shivpuri in Uttarakhand, amidst the swift currents of the Ganga and the chilling cold of the mountains. These are the same players from Delhi who, with the blessings of Yamuna Maayya of Delhi, have won medals in many national and international competitions. Known for its challenging rapids and natural beauty, the prestigious championship is being held at Shivpuri in Rishikesh, in which top competitors from across the country are participating.

In the National Canoe Slalom Competition to be held from 26 to 31 December 2024 in Shivpuri, Uttarakhand, senior player Nidhi from Delhi team will play in the Kayak Cross Slalom category and Anu in Canoe Slalom, while Kusum, Rahul, Nitesh Singh will play in the Kayak Slalom category.

On the other hand, if we talk about rafting sports full of thrill and adventure, it includes Delhi's senior players Abhishek Mishra, Rahul, Chanchal, Vishal, Sachin, Pushpa Yadav, Divyanshi, Priya Singh, Riya Chaharsiya and Deepika Pandey, a total of 10 players, 5 in the male category and 5 in the female category.
