Tahir Kamaal Siddiqui – Indore

On the occasion of 9th death anniversary of Brahma Kumar Omprakash Bhaiji, Regional Director of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari Vishwa Vidyalaya Indore Zone and National President of Media Division, a media seminar was organized in Brahma Kumar Omprakash Bhaiji Auditorium. In which Bharat Express Chairman Upendra Rai, who came from Delhi, while presenting his views as the chief guest on the topic "Spiritual Empowerment for a Healthy and Clean Society - Role of Media", said that the Ganga of religion and spirituality is flowing from India to the whole world. But due to not understanding religion and spirituality as different, the most deviation has also happened in India. All religions have different beliefs, traditions and worship methods, but spirituality is different from all these. Spirituality is necessary for all human beings. Spirituality gives us the right understanding of ourselves.

Further, while discussing about the increasing use and impact of social media on the topic of role of media, he said that social media is awakening the people by reaching its point directly to them without any editor, without any formality, but there is a need to be careful in this. By keeping spiritual thinking in any media, you can bring balance in your life and change in the society.

Brahmakumari Hemlata Didi, Regional Director of Indore Zone, said that to make the society healthy and clean, first of all we need internal cleanliness. For this, life and society will have to be kept free from crime and vices, in which media can play an important role. Because media has access to every person. It can inspire and empower every mind.

Former Vice Chancellor of Kushabhau Thackeray Journalism University Raipur, Dr. Mansingh Parmar

said that the power of pen is very big. If a doctor makes a mistake, only one patient will die, but if such news is written through pen, then how many will be harmed. Therefore, media personnel will have to make themselves positive and do journalism with the wish of welfare of people, then the society will become healthy and clean.

On this occasion, Dainik Bhaskar editor Amit Mandloi said that media is a reflection of society. Whatever happens in the society, that is what the media shows. If we have to make a healthy and clean society, then every section of the society will have to change and the beginning will have to be made from ourselves.

Agnibaan editor Rajesh Chelawat said that whenever unpleasant incidents happen in the society, there is great anger in the mind, but if that anger is expressed through pen, then a hope arises. Therefore, it is the job of the media to transform the flame of the mind into a lamp of hope.

Paying tribute to Bhaiji, senior journalist Arvind Tiwari, president of Indore Press Club, recalled that he connected journalism and media world in Indore with Brahma Kumari Sansthan and inspired them to do value-based journalism. Prajatantra editor Kirti Rana said that society will have to control itself instead of cursing the media. You praised Brahma Kumari Sansthan and said that emphasis is laid on value-based journalism here. For that, you remembered Om Prakash Bhaiji and Kamal Dixit ji. Swadesh editor Shakti Singh Parmar said that media is bringing awareness in every field. Just like our Indore city is number one in cleanliness, we media people are constantly making efforts to make it number one in the field of religion and spirituality, and in traffic system. State Press Club, MP president Praveen Khariwal said that Om Prakash Bhaiji awakened the spirit of values ??in the media, a direct example of which is that today media conventions are held twice a year at Brahma Kumari's headquarter Mount Abu. This is the biggest example.

The program was started by lighting the lamp. Everyone was honored with badges, plants and dupattas. Kumari Pari welcomed everyone with a welcome dance.

In the end, Brahmakumari Anita Didi made everyone experience Rajayoga and thanked everyone. The program was conducted by Navbharat editor Kranti Chaturvedi.
