Two-day orientation training program of Legal Service Unit for Children concluded

It is the social responsibility of the district unit to protect the interest of the child while staying within the limits of resources with the knowledge gained in the training and it is expected that everyone will work together for its discharge, the above views were expressed by District Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority Gwalior Shri PC Gupta at the conclusion of the two-day orientation training program of Legal Service Unit for Children organized in the auditorium of the District Court.

In the second day training program, training was provided by Secretary District Legal Services Authority Shri Ashish Dawde, Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board Mrs. Rupali Uike, District Legal Aid Officer Shri Deepak Sharma and Inspector Special Juvenile Police Unit Shri Sanjay Rai. In the day, the members of Legal Service Unit for Children were given the NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services) Scheme 2024 Objective: To organize outreach programmes to make people aware about crimes against children, legal aid to children at any stage of criminal justice process, Legal Service Unit for Children, efforts made for their protection by establishing contact with various Government departments, activities like providing legal aid to children through District Legal Service Authority, role of Special Police Juvenile Unit, to explain child crimes including organizing a case study by showing short video prepared by UNICEF and after group discussion, Principal District Judge Shri PC Gupta gave solution oriented answers to the questions posed by the members of Legal Service Unit for Children.
