Nagar Parishad Meghnagar removed encroachment from Jhabua Road by running encroachment campaign

In compliance with the instructions of District Collector Neha Meena and Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Mukesh Soni, under the leadership of Tehsildar Meghnagar Mrs. Mamta Mimrot and Chief Municipal Officer Rahul Singh Verma, Main Road was made encroachment free by removing 06 shops adjacent to CM Rise School at Main Road Jhabua Chauraha in Jhabua Meghnagar.

Under Section 6 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTA) 2003 of the Government of India, a fine of Rs 1000 was imposed against a total of 05 shopkeepers at the rate of Rs 200 per shopkeeper for selling near educational institutions.

They were also warned not to sell cigarettes and other tobacco products near educational institutions in future.

During the encroachment campaign and the above action, Tehsildar Mamta Mimrot, T.I.K.L. Varkade and police team, Municipal Council Sub-Engineer Suresh Ganawa, Raja Tak, S.I. Rawat, Vinod Bhuria, town Patwari Dilip Bhuria and other employees were present.
