UNDER THE OPERATION BULLET RAJA 35 BIKERS BOOKED FOR USING MODIFIED SILENCERS AND PERFORMING STUNTS IN JAMIA NAGAR SOUTH-EAST DELHI

On the occasion of New Year’s Eve, the South-East District Police displayed exemplary vigilance and dedication to ensure a peaceful and safe transition into the New Year for residents and visitors. The police force remained fully alert and operational throughout December 31, 2024, and into the early hours of January 1, 2025. Their proactive measures aimed to prevent mishaps, maintain law and order, and foster a secure environment for the community.
Under the operation Bullet Raja launched by staff of PS Jamia Nagar, 35 bikers were booked for using modified silencers and performing stunts in Jamia Nagar South-East Delhi.
TARGETED MEASURES
Recognizing the potential for disturbances during New Year celebrations, the South-East District Police undertook several targeted measures:
1. Enhanced Vigilance in Residential Areas, Hotels/Night Clubs, Malls, Bus Stops, Roads and measure High Footfall areas: Police personnel were deployed across residential zones, Hotels/Night Clubs, Malls, Bus Stops, Roads and measure High Footfall areas to monitor activities of hooligans and anti-social elements to prevent untoward incidents. Special attention was given to ensuring smooth traffic flow and deterring reckless & drunken driving.
2. Special Drive Against Unsocial Elements: A unique drive was conducted at key entry and exit points to identify and act against individuals indulging in stunts or driving under the influence of alcohol. These measures aimed to safeguard public safety and discourage dangerous behaviours. 
3. Focus on Nuisance Caused by Bullet Riders: The staff of PS Jamia Nagar under the supervision of Sh. Narpal Singh, SHO/Jamia Nagar launched ‘Operation Bullet Raja’, an initiative targeting bikers using modified silencers and engaging in reckless honking. These actions were deemed to cause significant public nuisance and posed safety risks.
RESULTS OF OPERATION BULLET RAJA
Under ‘Operation Bullet Raja,’ PS Jamia Nagar Police took stringent action against violators:
• 35 bikers were booked under Section 39/192 of the Motor Vehicles Act for performing stunts and using modified silencers that created excessive noise.
• Multiple offenders were counselled on the dangers and consequences of their actions.
• The initiative acted as a strong deterrent, discouraging similar behaviours among other road users.
ADDITIONAL PREVENTIVE ACTIONS
In addition to the successes of ‘Operation Bullet Raja,’ the South-East District Police took a range of preventive actions under various legal provisions:
1. Section 65 of the DP Act: 673 persons detained.
2. Section 66 of the DP Act: 131 vehicles seized.
3. Sections 126/170: 29 persons booked.
4. Section 129 BNSS (110 CrPC): 12 individuals booked.
5. Section 40 of the Excise Act: 93 persons booked.
6. BC/Bootlegger Checking: 123 BCs/Bootleggers were checked to keep surveillance over their activities.
COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY SAFETY
The South-East District Police’s efforts ensured a significant reduction in noise pollution, reckless driving, and disturbances, allowing residents to celebrate the New Year peacefully. The department’s actions exemplify its commitment to maintaining public safety and fostering an environment of security and order.

• Report any instances of reckless driving or public nuisance to the nearest police station.
• Refrain from using modified vehicles that violate the law.
