Emphasis on digital transformation of Postal Department: Important meeting held with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on capital expenditure

An important meeting was held today with Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman to develop the Postal Department as a customer-friendly and digital logistics company. In this meeting, the capital expenditure (capex) requirements of the Postal Department were discussed.

The government aims to move towards a strong and effective transformation with modern technology and digital services. During this, all the verticals were committed to make concrete efforts to realize this goal.

The Government of India is fully committed in this direction and will take every possible step to achieve it in the near future.
