Gwalior Police Station revealed the murder and arrested the accused, Police arrested both the sons who strangled their 88-year-old mother to death

Brief description of the incident:- On 09.12.2024, on the information of the death of deceased Kamla Koshta wife of Paramlal Koshta, age 88 years, by the informant Dalchand Koshta son of late Shri Paramlal Koshta resident Rai Colony Ghasmandi, a case number 38/24 under section 194 BNSS was registered in Gwalior Police Station and investigation was taken up. During the inquest, the statements of the witnesses were recorded by the police, in which the facts came to light that both the sons of the deceased Kamla Koshta did not want to keep her with them, in this regard, the witnesses have also told that there was a dispute in the past.

In the postmortem report of the deceased, it was found that the death was caused by strangulation. On the basis of evidence available in the investigation, it was found that both the sons of the deceased had killed the deceased Kamla Koshtha by strangulating her on 09.12.2024 at around 05.00 pm in collusion. On which, FIR No. 636/24 Section 103(1), 3(5) BNS was registered in Gwalior Police Station and investigation was taken up.

Taking the said murder incident seriously, *Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Dharmveer Singh directed *CSP Gwalior Mr. Ayush Gupta to form a team of Gwalior Police Station and arrest both the accused of the said murder. In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, the team of police force was deployed by the Police Station Incharge Gwalior Inspector Asif Mirza Beg to arrest both the accused wanted in the said murder case. Taking immediate action by the police team, both the accused were caught from Rai Colony Ghas Mandi.

When the two accused were questioned about the incident, they tried to mislead the police team, but when the police team questioned them thoroughly, they accepted that they had killed their mother by strangulating her. On which the police team duly arrested both the accused in the crime section of Gwalior Police Station. The accused who were caught did not want to inform the police after the incident and were planning to perform the last rites, but when the Gwalior Police Station received information about such an incident, the police immediately reached the spot, recovered the body and got it PMed.

Commendable role - Gwalior Police Station Incharge Asif Mirza Beg, Sub Inspector Sanjay Sharma, Sub Inspector Pradeep Tomar, Sub Inspector Ajaypal Singh Yadav, Head Constable Kamal Parihar, Head Constable Anguri Devi, Arshaak Rahul Bhadoria, Vivek Tomar, Arjun Sikarwar, Brajkishore Bhadoria played a commendable role.
