Tahir Kamaal Siddiqui - Indore

In protest against atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh, enlightened people of Muslim community reached Commissioner's office and submitted a memorandum in the name of President of India Draupadi Murmu. Prominent among the delegation that submitted the memorandum were former President of Madhya Pradesh Madrasa Board Professor Haleem Khan, former member of MP Wakf Board Munir Ahmed Khan, High Court Advocate Ashar Ahmed Warsi, Bharat Padyatri Akbar Ahmed, Nasir Ahmed Khan (Ushaganj Cantonment), Advocate Mushtaq Khan, Advocate Sadiq Shah, Imran Khan Pehlwan of Wakf Chhoti Gwal Toli etc. In the memorandum, the injustice being done to the minority Hindu community in Bangladesh was condemned and the Indian government was appealed to take immediate action.

The delegation said that we, the Muslims of India, especially the citizens of Muslim community of Indore MP, request the President that "the injustice being done to the minority Hindu people in Bangladesh should be stopped. There was also strong condemnation of damaging the places of Hindu society and not protecting life and property. Enlightened Muslims have appealed to the Indian government to put pressure on the Bangladesh government in this matter and remind them that it is India that gave them the identity of a separate nation.

People of the Muslim community said that according to the Islamic principles of Prophet Muhammad and Khulafa-e-Rashidin, "even if there is a war, it is ordered to protect the religious places of others and those who take refuge there and the elderly, women and children there in every situation. Therefore, the Bangladesh government should not forget these principles of Islam. Due to these nefarious acts of the fundamentalists of Bangladesh, a wrong image of Islam is being presented. We also appeal to the minority community of India to appeal to the people of Bangladesh to establish peace by implementing the principles of "shared nationalism" of "Misaqe Madina" of Muhammad Sahib of Medina. So that peace can be maintained in the entire Asian continent.
