Speed up the progress of Smart City projects: Collector Ruchika Chauhan gave special instructions

Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan gave instructions to complete the incomplete projects of Smart City as soon as possible and with high quality. She held a review meeting with the officials in the Smart City Auditorium located at Motimahal on Thursday. Smart City CEO and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Aman Vaishnav were also present in the meeting.

The Collector directed the officials to complete the remaining works of Smart City under a special strategy so that the city dwellers can get the benefit of these schemes soon and the development of the city can be given a new direction. Also, emphasis was laid on transferring the projects which have been completed to the Municipal Corporation soon, so that the responsibility of their maintenance can be ensured.

Review of major projects:

In the meeting, the progress of many major projects like ISBT, Smart School under construction in Shiksha Nagar, renovation of Government Printing Press located at Maharaj Bada and multi-level parking, LED street lights was reviewed through power point presentation.

Emphasis on work discipline:

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Aman Vaishnav directed that Smart City officers and employees should be present in the office on time. Officers and employees going to the field should give progress report of the works through geo tagging, so that the monitoring of schemes can be more effective.

The Collector said that any kind of laxity in development works will not be tolerated and it is necessary to complete them on time so that the city gets a new identity as a smart city.
