If a person wants to keep himself free from stress, anxiety, fear etc., then he must do meditation daily. The above statement was made by Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya Lashkar Gwalior Center Chief Rajyogini BK Adarsh ??Didi during a program organized at Brahma Kumaris Sangam Bhawan Rajyoga Meditation Center located at Old High Court Line under the theme "Inner Peace, Global Harmony" on the occasion of "World Meditation Day". Didi further said that Rajyoga meditation awakens the basic qualities of the soul such as truthfulness, purity, sacrifice, tolerance, patience, kindness, compassion and service etc. Meditation improves relationships by making the behavior calm, good and superior. And removes the impurities of the mind. Rajyoga meditation not only introduces the true self, but is also a powerful medium to get divine power and inspiration by connecting the strings of the mind with God. Didi said that the United Nations declared 21 December as World Meditation Day. Which is an important step for the service of humanity. This initiative will help in knowing the importance of meditation at the global level and people to adopt meditation in daily life.

In the program, senior Rajyoga meditation trainer BK Dr. Gurcharan Singh said that meditation is not just a sadhana, but an important part of life. It not only solves our mental and physical problems but also leads us towards self-improvement. In today's life, meditation is like a boon, which helps us to live a balanced, healthy and happy life. He further said that Rajyoga meditation taught by Brahma Kumaris increases our self-confidence as well as brings positivity in life and gives freedom from negative emotions.

In the program, motivational speaker and senior Rajyoga meditation trainer BK Prahlad Bhai said that meditation is a process through which a person controls his mind and thoughts. Instead of connecting with the outside world, meditation gives a person an opportunity to look inside himself and do self-analysis. It is an ancient method of strengthening the mind and soul. The basic purpose of meditation is to make the mind stable and calm. Meditation increases memory power and concentration. Intellect becomes divine and the ability to take decisions also increases. Meditation also helps us to remain physically healthy to a great extent. By practicing meditation daily, the mind becomes powerful and the body becomes healthy and energetic.

Answers given to people's questions in the program -

Question 1 - Why does the mind run away when you sit to meditate?

Answer - Most people have a lot of useless thinking in their lives. They are never able to give time to themselves. And whenever you try to sit in peace or meditate, then those things come together. Therefore, if you take out some time for yourself every day, you will see that within a few days the speed of your useless thoughts will start slowing down. And with positive thinking, the mind will start concentrating.

Question 2 - Do you find meditation very difficult?

Answer - Meditation is not difficult, but very simple. Meditation is also called yoga or remembrance. Wherever two things unite, it is yoga. Like a mother is remembering her son or a son is remembering his mother or father. So this is also a type of yoga, but it is yoga with relatives. But when we remember God by considering ourselves as the self, then it will be called yoga or meditation with God.

It is easy to remember relatives, because we live with them and know a lot about them. But it seems difficult to do yoga with God because he is not visible. And we are not completely familiar with his name, form, place, time and duty. So when we think about his qualities and try to know about him in detail. Then we can easily connect the strings of our mind with him. Because he is our supreme father, supreme teacher, supreme sadguru, supreme father, supreme God Shiva is formless point of light i.e. in the form of a divine light beam, he is supreme, all powerful, supreme, omniscient, infinite in knowledge qualities and powers, giver of divine wisdom, remover of sorrow and giver of happiness. Only by knowing all this, we can easily connect with him or remember him.

Question 3 - How many types of yoga are there in the world?

Answer - There are many types of yoga and every yoga has its own importance.

Like - Rajyoga, Karmayoga, Bhaktiyoga, Gyanyoga, Hathayoga, etc.

Here we are talking about Rajyoga. This is the yoga that God taught to Arjun. Rajyoga means the yoga that rules over the sense organs, the yoga that unites the soul with the Supreme Soul.

Question 4 - What is Karmayoga?

Karmayoga means remembering God while doing work. Due to which all our actions become superior. That is why it is said "Yoga: Karmasu Koshalam". That is, Yoga brings efficiency in work. Only the work done in the remembrance of God becomes a virtuous work.
