TRIGGER-HAPPY GANGSTER NABBED WITH FIREARMS, PREVENTING POSSIBLE INCIDENTS OF GANGWAR

In a decisive and unwavering action, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of Crime Branch, Delhi Police has successfully nabbed a trigger-happy gangster namely Shivam@Laddu.

BRIEF FACTS

A team of ANTF received secret information that a budding gangster Shivam @ Laddu S/o Parmod R/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi, is planning to carry out a sensational crime in order to assert his dominance in the area. After a detailed operation, he was nabbed with a country made pistol and 2 live rounds, thereby preventing an imminent criminal incident.

OPERATIONAL STRATEGY AND EXECUTION

Under the ongoing drive against hardened criminals, the ANTF team developed intelligence about whereabouts of accused Shivam@Laddu, who is a budding gangster. On 15.07.2025, team of Insp. Nitesh Kumar, comprising SI Soamya Kulhar, HC Vikrant, HC Pramod and HC Gulshan acted swiftly after obtaining secret information and a trap was laid out. Accused Shivam@Laddu was apprehended by the raiding team from service road, near Sadaiv Atal, Delhi. One country made pistol alongwith two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 177/25 dated 15.7.25 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS crime branch has been registered and investigation taken up.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS

Accused is previously found involved in below mentioned two cases in which he alongwith his accomplices attacked his rivals with knife/pistols and injured them:

1. FIR No. 564/25 u/s 109(1)/3/(5) BNS (2023), 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS-Adarsh Nagar, Delhi

2. ?FIR No. 678/25 u/s 118(1)/125/351(3)/3(5) BNS (2023), 25/27 Arms Act, PS- Jahangir Puri, Delhi

INTERROGATION

On interrogation Shivam@Laddo disclosed that he had been involved in gangwar in Jahangirpuri and nearby areas. He along with his associates had tried to kill an opposite gang member namely Aryan @ Gullu recently, when he sensed that the opposite gang members are trying to kill him. Shivam@Laddo also disclosed that he had remained associated in heinous criminal activities during his juvenile age.

GANGS INVOLVED

There has been rivalry between two gangs namely Deepak (Patrakar) and Narender Gang. Deepak Patrakar was affiliated with Prince Wadhwa (presently in jail).

In the month of Oct. 2024, during cross firing between these gangs Deepak was killed while Narender with his associate was injured. There has been several incidents of gangwar between these rival factions. In the month of January, 2025 a person namely Lucky was murdered who was close to Shivam and he wanted to avenge his murder.

Further investigation is in progress.
