Brahmanaad performance on the third day of Tansen Festival

On the third day of the centenary celebration of Tansen Music Festival, the country's most prestigious festival in the field of classical music, on Tuesday, the top instruments of Brahmanaad mesmerized the connoisseurs with their singing and playing in the morning music session. The morning music sessions began with the traditional Dhrupad recital dedicated to God. The students of Tansen Music College, Gwalior, described the eternal faith and devotion towards Lord Shri Ram through the bandish Raghuvar ki chhavi sundar composed in Raga Desi taal Chaital. Jagatnarayan Sharma accompanied on Pakhavaj.

The next performance was of violin jugalbandi. Famous violinists Mahesh Malik and Amit Malik appeared on the stage. This father-son duo played Raga Bairagi Bhairav ??on the strings of the violin. With his skillful hands, Ustad Salim Allahwale provided the audience with the love of raag with his tabla accompaniment.

After listening to the melodious tunes of violin, it was now time to meet the tunes of guitar. Varanasi's famous guitar player Ms. Kamala Shankar arrived on the stage of Tansen Samaroh. Ms. Kamala ji played raag Shuddh Sarang on Shankar guitar instrument. The craftsmanship of fingers and the magic of raag touched the soul of music lovers in such a way that everyone was delighted. The next presentation was of singing, in which young singer Ms. Bhavya Saraswat of Ratlam introduced her sweet voice. In the last presentation of the morning session of the third day, music lovers enjoyed the melody of Surbahar. To provide this pleasure, the famous Surbahar player Ashwin Dalvi came from Jaipur. He played the strings of Surbahar, choosing raag Bhimapalasi. He made new experiments in Surbahar every day.
