Vice President Shri Dhankhar inaugurated the country's first Geo Science Museum in Gwalior

Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the country's first Geo Science Museum in Gwalior today. This state-of-the-art museum has been set up in the Heritage Building Victoria Market located in the historic Maharaj Bada of Gwalior. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and many prominent public representatives were present in the inauguration program.

The museum provides unique information related to the origin of the Earth, the development of human civilization, and the universe. A dinosaur egg is also displayed here as a special attraction. The museum has two galleries, which depict the development of the Earth to the rise of human civilization and various stages of life.

After the inauguration, Vice President Shri Dhankhar visited various galleries of the museum and appreciated it. In this museum, tourists also get interesting information about earthquakes, atmosphere, and oceans, which has been presented with light effects and modern technology.

Director General of Geological Survey of India Shri Asit Saha, Divisional Commissioner Shri Manoj Khatri, and other key officials were also present at the event.

This museum is not only informative for children but also for adults and inspires curiosity towards geology.
