Traffic police took challan action against 37 e-rickshaws running without color coding and without registration

Under traffic awareness, the traffic police along with NCC cadets informed the general public about the general rules of traffic.

To further improve the traffic system of the city, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh, a traffic awareness campaign is being run and action is being taken in various areas of the city against e-rickshaws running without color coding. Today, during checking, 37 e-rickshaws were seized and parked at traffic police stations.

DSP Traffic Ajit Singh Chauhan has deployed all the police station in-charges of traffic to conduct random checking in their respective areas and run a campaign against e-rickshaws without registration, e-rickshaws without color coding and e-rickshaw drivers violating the shift and take challan action. Today on 07.12.2024, in the morning, Traffic Police Gwalior conducted a campaign in Gola Ka Mandir Square, KRG College, Railway Station, Bus Stand area and took action by conducting special checking on e-rickshaws violating color coding and running without registration and during the checking, 37 e-rickshaws were seized and parked at traffic police stations. The action of the traffic police against e-rickshaw drivers violating the rules will continue continuously.

Today, under the traffic awareness campaign, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior, Subedar Pramod Sahu and traffic staff along with NCC cadets at Gola Ka Mandir Square informed the general public about general traffic rules like helmet, seat belt, drink and drive and also motivated them to follow traffic rules. On this occasion, NCC cadets also advised the drivers driving the vehicles to follow the traffic rules and made people aware of traffic rules by carrying traffic awareness placards in their hands.
