AI has become an essential tool for editing: PK Nigam.

Under the workshop organized on the subject of Production Process in the Electronic Media Department of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University, subject expert Mr. PK Nigam provided important information to the students on the topic Editing with AI on Wednesday. Earlier, the Head of the Department, Prof. (Dr.) Monica Verma welcomed Mr. Nigam by presenting a shawl and a memento. Prof. Monica said that today is the era of AI. Therefore, its importance in editing has increased a lot. It is very important for all the students to have information and knowledge about this.

In the closing session of the two-day workshop organized in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, Mr. Nigam said that AI has become an essential tool for editing today. He said that it has made the work of editing very easy. Mr. Nigam told the students everything from non-linear editing to basic editing AI practically through PPT. Shri Nigam also told about scenes, shots, pixels, chroma, white balance, camera frame and how much difference is made by placing shots before or after in editing. He said that if editing is done right then films become hits and if not done then they can also be flops. The workshop was conducted by Senior Assistant Professor Lt. Mukesh Kumar Chaurase and vote of thanks was given by Senior Assistant Professor and Public Relations Officer Dr. Arun Kumar Khobre. Teachers and students of the department were present in large numbers in the workshop.
