Mani Prabha Tripathy honored with Prestigious award for Exemplary Service on Constitution Day

Mani Prabha Tripathy, a renowned school head master from Sarangarh, has been awarded the Prestigious Samrat Ashok Global Dignity Samajik Bhushan Award. The honor was bestowed upon her on the occasion of Constitution Day Celebration by the Gopal Kiran Samaj Sevi Sanstha , of Jagannath Puri. Her Story was narrated among the audience who took inspiration from her works.

Tripathy’s dedication to education and community development is evident in her numerous contributions. She has been a social worker since her childhood and has selflessly taught underprivileged children out of her own pocket and empowered them to achieve their full potential.

Beyond the classroom, Tripathy is a passionate environmentalist. She has transformed her school into a lush green oasis, planting trees and creating a beautiful flower garden. The trees planted by her in her former schools are still remembered fondly. Tripathy has contributed towards establishment of print-rich environment, ensuring pure drinking water arrangements by installing Aquaguard, separate learning corner in all classes, successful operation of Muskaan library, circulation of Bal Patrika and balance of school education by organizing extra-curricular activities on Saturdays. Her innovative teaching methods, including outdoor learning experiences and storytelling sessions, have inspired students to excel academically and creatively.

Mani Prabha is an English teacher. She teaches her students by taking them to the outside environment. Whenever she takes leave, her students visit her house to take her to school. Story sessions run by NCERT and SCERT are narrated to her students on Saturdays, which builds up and enhances the quality of English among the students. People from various districts of Chhattisgarh arrive for educational tours with their students to see the beauty of her school.

Maniprabha has also been doing a lot of work in the field of health. Health checkups are regularly Scheduled for the children in the school. Government schemes are also well adhered to in her school. Her children are also ahead in the field of sports. Whether it is science based activity or 'Kabaad se Jugaad' competitions, her students have excelled.

Enthusiasm in her students is evidenced by the fact that Students in her school are not willing to go to their homes even after school hours. They keep playing in the school. Children even arrive school 1 hour early to enjoy the flower garden. Every student acts as mirror for the teacher, and Mani Prabha’s students never get tired of praising her.

Tripathy especially preaches awareness for cleanliness and greenery in the society. Her message is to stay clean and make India plastic free, save the surrounding environment from dirt and stay healthy yourself and keep others healthy too. She believes it is not necessary to have a big garden for ensuring greenery. One can promote greenery by planting trees even in the small balcony of the house. Bless nature by planting trees. Save as many trees as possible. Her 'clean and green' mission will keep continuing in the future and society will keep getting encouraged to strive for excellence and make a positive difference in the world through her story.
