Delhi BJP urges police not to treat the case merely as road rage; calls for thorough and swift investigation

“Delhi Police must not limit this case to a road rage incident. A speedy and in-depth investigation is needed to uncover the real motive behind the murder, as the victim’s family has raised certain suspicions.” – Delhi BJP

Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva and Union Minister of State Mr. Harsh Malhotra expressed grief over the murder of Yash, a 21-year-old youth from Geeta Colony, and urged the Delhi Police not to treat the incident merely as a case of road rage. They stressed that the matter requires a swift and thorough investigation to ascertain the true motive behind the killing, as the bereaved family has voiced some concerns and suspicions.

Union Minister of State and East Delhi MP Mr. Harsh Malhotra, accompanied by local MLA Dr. Anil Goel, visited the victim’s residence in Rani Garden earlier today. They met with the grieving parents and offered their condolences and support.

Mr. Malhotra assured the family that Delhi Police would investigate the case with full diligence, and a strong and watertight case would be prepared. He further stated that, if required, the Delhi government would provide the best legal assistance for action against the accused.

He affirmed that East Delhi BJP stands firmly with the bereaved family and for any assistance, the family can reach out to local MLA Dr. Anil Goel or Shahdara District President Mr. Deepak Gaba.

In the evening, Shahdara BJP District President Mr. Deepak Gaba and other local bjp officials attended the last rites of the deceased Yash.
