ONE NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL/BURGLAR ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS SAROJINI NAGAR/SWD.

? THE ACCUSED IS A HABITUAL OFFENDER AND PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 14 CRIMINAL CASES.

The staff of PS Sarojini Nagar, South West District has arrested one notorious criminal/burglar namely Pradeep @ Kadwa R/o New Moti Bagh, New Delhi, age 25 years. With his arrest, stolen cash Rs. 6,000/-, a golden color wrist watch, a red t-shirt and blue trouser were recovered from his instance/possession.

INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:

On 10.06.2025, a case vide FIR No. 202/25, u/s 305(a)/331(4) BNS was registered at PS Sarojini Nagar on the complaint of Sh. Sanwar Mal Jaat R/o New Moti Bagh, Sarojini Nagar regarding a theft at his residence. To trace the accused, a dedicated team of PS Sarojini Nagar comprising SI Pramod, ASI Devender, ASI Rampal, HC Amarjeet, HC Hemraj, Ct. Mohit & Ct. Ajit was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Atul Tyagi, SHO/Sarojini Nagar and under the close supervision of ACP/Safdarjung Enclave Sh. Ranbir Singh to nab the culprits. The team collected local intelligence and analyzed inputs from secret informers.

On 24.06.2025, a specific input was received regarding the suspect, Pradeep @ Kadwa R/o New Moti Bagh, New Delhi, age 25 years. Acting swiftly, the team laid a trap and apprehended the suspect Pradeep @ Kadwa from Netaji Nagar. During interrogation, the accused confessed to breaking the lock of the house using a brick and stealing ?7,000, a wristwatch, clothes, a mobile phone, and sandals. That very night, he took an auto and went in Lodhi Colony to buy smack. On the way, he sold the mobile to a person named Salib at the underpass near Kotla Mubarakpur for ?300. He spent ?1000 on smack, gave ?300 to the auto driver, and kept the remaining money, watch, and clothes at Netaji Nagar to use later.He further disclosed that fled as police had doubt over him. So, he was hiding at Sarai Kalen Khan Flyover since then. As he had no money to buy smack, so he decided to come to Netaji Nagar to get the money and articles but he was apprehended. Further, efforts are being made to recover the mobile phone of complainant.

Accused Pradeep @ Kadwa R/o New Moti Bagh, New Delhi, age 25 years is a habitual offender and previously involved in 14 criminal cases.

RECOVERY:

1. Stolen cash Rs. 6,000/-

2. One golden-colored wristwatch.

3. One red t-shirt & one blue trouser.

CASES WORKED OUT:

1. Case FIR No. 202/25, u/s 305(a)/331(4) BNS, PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.

2. Case e-FIR No. 80051923/25, u/s 303(2) BNS, PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.

Further investigation is underway to affect more recoveries.
