The chief guests of this press conference were Hon'ble Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Dinesh Sharma ji and MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, former Rajya Sabha MP and Noida in-charge Kanta Kardam, District President Mahesh Chauhan and Regional Minister Ashish Vats.

Dinesh Sharma ji, while speaking on Emergency, said that today is being celebrated as Constitution Hatya Diwas. It was the time in 1975 when those who were supposed to protect the Constitution started destroying it. Emergency was imposed by waking up the President at night. Indira Gandhi and Congress together spread unrest in the entire country and suppressed everyone's voice. No Indian will ever forget how the spirit of the Constitution was violated during the Emergency. Emergency is one of the darkest chapters in the history of Indian democracy. During the Emergency, fundamental rights were suspended by ignoring the values ??enshrined in the Constitution and freedom of the press was suppressed and leaders of political parties, social workers, students and common citizens were jailed on a large scale.

At that time it seemed as if the Congress government in power at that time had taken democracy hostage. Sterilization was done from the youth to the elderly. The Congress government openly violated the law and people from every section, from politicians to the masses, were put in jail.

Before the press conference, Dinesh Sharma planted a tree. After that, all the guests arrived at the seminar organized on the Emergency.

MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma said on this occasion that democracy and fundamental rights were murdered during the Emergency and the way inhuman acts like censorship and forced sterilization were done on the press.
