Serious efforts to improve power supply in industrial areas of Indore

MP West Zone Electricity Distribution Company is making serious efforts to improve the quality of power supply in the industrial areas of Indore city. On the instructions of the company's Managing Director Mr. Anoop Kumar Singh, the improvement work is also being reviewed every week. City Superintending Engineer Mr. Dilip Kumar Gathe said that electricity officials are in constant dialogue with the industry operators and officials of industrial organizations of Sanwer Road, Palda, Ujjain Road, Rau, Dhar Road GNT Market, Pologround etc. areas, so that their problems are resolved and suggestions can be implemented. The Superintending Engineer said that the West Division has maintained 11 KV feeders of Rambali, Gopala Compound, Avantika Nagar, Laxmibai Nagar, Pologround. Wires have been replaced in an area of ??one and a half km. Transformers have been maintained and boxes have been replaced at 7 places. The Central City Division maintained MPIDC and other feeders of Rau as well as Dhar Road GNT Market feeders. Along with this, 12 transformers were maintained and their boxes were changed. The City Superintendent Engineer said that the North Division renovated the grid located in Sector E in the industrial area located on Sanwer Road, Ujjain Road, changed the isolator in the modern grid and also bifurcated the feeder of Sector C so that qualitative improvement in supply could be seen. Maintenance of 33 kV feeders and 11 kV feeders was done. New works are underway to help 38 high pressure industries operating on 33 kV supply under RDSS, which have been completed up to 90 percent. This will reduce tripping and increase quality. Maintenance of 40 transformers was done in the North region and boxes were also changed. Tri branch cutting, insulator, jumper etc. works were done on 6 feeders of 11 KV in Palda Industrial Area of ??South Division of Indore city, other necessary works were done on the grid. Feeder bifurcation work has been done under RDSS near Varun Victory Factory, this has improved the supply of industries. A new 33 KV Panther Line feeder has been approved from 220 KV Bichauli extra high pressure grid, this will provide better electricity to the industrial high pressure consumers related to 33 KV, tripping of 11 KV lines will also decrease. A new grid is also proposed in the future in Palda Industrial Area. An additional vehicle has also been deployed for quick help related to supply in Palda Industrial Area, this is reducing the time taken to resolve complaints. Shri Gathe said that continuous dialogue will be maintained with the industry operators, so that industrial development continues to gain momentum.
