The 'terror' of e-rickshaw drivers will end in Delhi!

Looking at the deteriorating traffic system of Delhi, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered the Delhi Traffic Police and the Transport Department of the Delhi Government to end the terror of e-rickshaws in Delhi. The e-rickshaws running illegally and without fitness in Delhi should be seized and action should be taken against their owners. More than one lakh e-rickshaws are running illegally in Delhi. This step has been taken in view of the deteriorating traffic system of Delhi. The Delhi Traffic Police has prepared a big plan for action.

Around 1.5 lakh e-rickshaws are registered in Delhi. It is being told that the same number of e-rickshaws are running illegally. They stand in a place in a herd. They run in the middle of the road. They pick up passengers by standing in the middle of the road. This causes traffic jams on a large scale. There are many areas in Delhi where the traffic system has completely collapsed due to e-rickshaws. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had called a meeting of officials of traffic police and transport department and other departments on Thursday. The Lieutenant Governor has ordered that a special campaign should be launched to seize e-rickshaws.
