Successful complex surgery in Datia of a 75-year-old woman who returned disappointed from major hospitals of Gwalior and Jhansi

Achieving a significant achievement in the field of medicine, Dr. Shweta Yadav, Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Government Medical College (GMC) Datia and her team have successfully operated on a huge tumor present in the ovary of a 75-year-old woman. This surgery is also important because the patient was suffering from serious heart and respiratory diseases, due to which many hospitals in big cities like Gwalior and Jhansi had refused to operate on her.

When the patient was brought to GMC Datia, her condition was very critical. The size of the tumor present in the ovary was extremely large and surgery was considered extremely risky due to the patient's age and pre-existing health problems. Dr. Shweta Yadav thoroughly evaluated the patient's condition and decided to operate with utmost caution.

This complex surgery, which lasted for about 2 hours, was successfully carried out by Dr. Shweta Yadav and her experienced team. The team comprised of Dr Shweta Yadav along with Dr Rubina, Dr Anju, Anaesthetist Dr Dimple Bhadkaria, Dr Pallavi, Dr Namrata, Nursing Officer Anjali. The patient is stable after the operation and is recovering fast. Medicine specialists Dr Dinesh Singh Tomar and Dr Praveen Tagore assisted in the management of her critical medical conditions.
