THREE WANTED CRIMINALS INCLUDING 02 WOMEN ARRESTED

ABSCONDING FOR LAST 04 MONTHS IN AN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE 
 
With the arrest of three wanted & absconded accused persons including 02 women r/o Malkaganj, Delhi, the team of ISC/Crime Branch has been successful in tracing and affecting the arrest of these wanted criminals who were absconding since 14.03.2025 & NBWs were issued against them. 
INCIDENT: 
A case vide FIR No. 125/2025, U/s 109(1)/115(2)/3(5) BNS & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was registered on the basis of a statement given by the complainant, Vicky r/o Malka Ganj, Delhi. He reported that on the occasion of the Holi festival, dated 14.03.2025, a heated altercation broke out between his family and that of their neighbour Mohit @ Nanga.  
The incident was triggered when a relative of Mohit began abusing the complainant’s family, prompting the complainant’s younger brother to retaliate with verbal abuse. The situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, Mohit, along with his family members A (mother), Deepak (brother), K (sister), and Varun (brother-in-law), began pelting stones at the complainant’s family. Amidst the chaos, Mohit and his brother-in-law Varun brandished pistols and opened fire. The complainant narrowly escaped the gunfire. However, a neighbour, Rohit @ Golu, who arrived at the scene in an attempt to intervene, sustained gunshot injuries.  
Additionally, the complainant and several members of his family suffered head injuries due to the stone pelting. Following the incident, accused Mohit and Deepak were arrested. However, the remaining three accused namely A, K, and Varun absconded and had been evading arrest since the registration of the case.  
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: 
To arrest the absconding/wanted accused persons, the task was assigned to the team of ISC/Crime Branch. A dedicated team comprising of SIs Gulab Singh, Ashish Sharma, ASIs Shailender Singh, Rakesh Kumar, HCs Ramkesh, Surender, Varun, Rajendra & Mahender, Shakti Singh, & W/Ct. Manisha under the leadership of Insp Kamal Kumar, supervision of Insp Satendra Mohan and overall supervision of Sh. Ramesh Chander Lamba, ACP/ISC, Crime Branch was constituted.  
To trace the absconding accused, the team initiated focused surveillance and intelligence gathering on the suspects. Head Constables Shakti and Mahender meticulously worked on all inputs. This led to the identification of the accused's likely hideout in Khatima, a small town located in District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, near the Nepal border. 
Acting swiftly on this lead, the team conducted a raid in Pakdiya, Rajeev Nagar, Khatima, Uttarakhand. As a result, all three absconding/wanted accused Anita, Kajal, and Varun, were successfully apprehended from the said location.  
Upon sustained interrogation, the accused confessed that they had been hiding since the incident. They further disclosed their involvement in in the incident and admitted to harboring a grudge against the complainant’s family, who, according to them, had been informing the police about their illegal activities, which motivated the violent retaliation.  
  All the three accused persons have been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
