ONE INTERSTATE DESPERATE CRIMINAL NAMELY PARVAIZ ALAM @ PANDIT, INVOLVED IN CASES OF 03 STATES, WANTED IN A CASE OF ROBBERY & ABDUCTION IN BHARATPUR RAJASTHAN ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH

? THE ACCUSED WAS ARRESTED AFTER 09 YEARS OF THE REGISTRATION OF CASE.

? A REWARD OF RS. 15000 WAS ALSO DECLARED AGAINST THE ACCUSED IN THE CASE.

INTRODUCTION:

A team of WR-II/Crime Branch has apprehended an interstate criminal namely Parvez Alam @ Pandit s/o Aslam r/o Village Allahapur Bhikan PS Mainather, District Moradabad UP, Age: - 45 years. A NBW was found issued against him in a robbery cum abduction case vide FIR No 807/16, u/s 395/365/120B, Police Station Nadbai, Bharatpur, Rajasthan. He used to kidnap and throw bodies of taxi drivers to undisclosed locations and fled with their vehicles and personal belongings with the help of his accomplices.

INCIDENT:

In 2011, at Nizamuddin, Delhi, the accused Parvej Alam @ Pandit along with his co associates Sufian and Arif booked a taxi, kidnapped the taxi driver and fled away with the taxi and money after poisoning the taxi driver. They had also thrown the body of the victim to an undisclosed location. The accused used the same modus operandi in FIR No 807/16, u/s 395/365/120B, Police Station Nadbai, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, where he along with his associates booked a taxi in similar fashion, kidnapped the taxi driver and robbed his personal belonging and the vehicle. After robbing the taxi driver, they tied him up and threw him at an isolated place.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:

The team of WR-II, Crime Branch, has been keeping a close watch on interstate rewarded criminals who visit and stay in Delhi. Both manual and technical surveillance are mounted on such suspects. After months of constant surveillance, a secret information was received by HC Vinod Sharma that one Parvej Alam, wanted in a case of Robbery and abduction Police Station Nadbai, Bharatpur, Rajasthan would come near Saket court complex. He could be apprehended if a trap is laid in time.

Accordingly, sensing the gravity and nature of the crime, a team from WR-II, Crime Branch, led by Insp. Akshay Gahlaut, SI Ravi, HC Vinod, and HC Sandeep Kadiyan, HC Naveen under the supervision of ACP/WR-II, Sh. Raj Pal Dabas, was constituted by the worthy DCP/Crime Branch, Sh. Harish Indora, IPS to nab the criminal.

The aforesaid team laid a trap near Saket court complex, Delhi and apprehended one Parvez Alam s/o Aslam r/o Village Allahapur Bighan, PS Mainather, District Moradabad, UP, Age: - 45 years.

INTERROGATION:

During the course of interrogation, accused Parvej Alam @ Pandit disclosed that he is illiterate and in year 2006 he was a drug addict and came in contact with other drug addicted persons and committed loot in Moradabad, UP and further on committed a murder in the same year arising of a dispute near his native place. After the accused committed many heinous crimes and got involved in more than 25 Cases in the area of Utter Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi of Murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, robbery, kidnapping, gangster Act, Gunda Act, Arms Act & Auto lifting. In 2011, at Nizamuddin, Delhi, the accused along with his co associates Sufian and Arif had booked a taxi and after poisoning the driver, they fled away with the taxi and robbed money. The accused used the same modus operandi in FIR No 807/16, u/s 395/365/120B, Police Station Nadbai, Bharatpur, Rajasthan. As he was not arrested even after sincere efforts, SP Bharatpur, Rajasthan declared a reward of RS 15,000/- on his arrest.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

The accused, Parvez Alam @ Pandit s/o Aslam r/o Village Allahapur Bhikan, PS Mainather, District Moradabad, UP, Age: - 45 years. He is illiterate. He is married to Afsana and he has 05 children. He was working as a truck driver and moved across many states, he was hard to trace and arrest. He got involved in crime in 2006 and committed many crimes including murder, loot, dacoity, abduction, theft, further on with his accomplices, he started kidnapping commercial vehicle drivers to loot their vehicles and personal belongings. The accused is involved in more than 32 cases.
