Collector and Superintendent of Police inspected the preparations before Guru Purnima and Shravan Monday at Shringeshwar Dham Gave instructions to prepare for bathing on Shravan Monday

Collector Neha Meena and Superintendent of Police Mr. Padma Vilochan Shukla inspected the preparations before Guru Purnima and Shravan Monday at Shringeshwar Dham located at the confluence of Mahi River and Madhukanya River. Regarding the preparations made at Shringeshwar Dham, SDM Ms. Tanushree Meena informed that at present the river banks have been protected with bamboo poles. A separate shallow place has been selected for bathing. Security arrangements have been made by putting 40 Kotwars on duty and SDERF team and skilled divers are present to deal with any kind of disaster. Regarding Guru Purnima bath, Collector Neha Meena directed that banners should be put up at the place of bathing for proper information, in case of crowd, Patwaris should be put on duty in addition to Kotwars, Executive Engineer Public Works Department was directed to make arrangements for additional barricading. Also directed to take the help of sailors for divers.

The Collector also directed to make arrangements for central announcement system and to make arrangements for children below 15 years of age to take bath in the newly constructed pond. The Collector said that the entire staff should remain active. Work actively on every Shravan Monday and ensure peaceful completion of the festival. The Collector said that if additional resources are required, demand them which will be made available from the district level. District Commandant was directed to give proper briefing to the divers and special team regarding the program.

Superintendent of Police Shri Padma Vilochhan Shukla directed to put police personnel on duty at all spots. Also, instructions were given to work diligently so that no disaster of any kind takes place. During this, Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Petlawad Ms. Tanushree Meena, Assistant Collector Ashish Kumar, SDOP Petlawad Ms. Anurakti Sabnani, Executive Engineer Public Works Department Arif Ahmed Gori, Tehsildar Petlawad Anil Baghel and other officers were present.
